Ronelle: Owner, manager, spinner

Born in Sydney, I grew up in Far North Queensland on the Atherton Tablelands. Moving to Brisbane, Townsville, United Kingdom, Melbourne, Papua New Guinea and back to Melbourne for study and work, it is the farm that is my little piece of paradise.
A first generation farmer, Victoria was quite a change from living in the tropics, however the property and the interactions with the animals and community is what brings me joy.
A jack of all trades (master of none) I have moved through varied stages from student, jillaroo, investment bank PA, student again, radio promotions chick, ran a couple of marathons, researcher, motorcycle instructor (Honda), manager and I studied and worked as a positive dog trainer (Delta) for 2 years.
From my first sheep in 2013 I have learned to spin wool, knit and shear a sheep (poorly). A keen vegetable gardener, this has proven to not be my gift. It seems strength of will is just not enough for successful gardening.

Ronelle PhD (Biochemistry), Masters Public Health and Tropical Medicine, Bachelor Biomedical Science (Hons), Cert IV Trainer & assessor, Cert IV Companion animal studies, Cert II Shearing.

James: Infrastructure manager

Born and raised in Brisbane before joining the RAAF.  James spent 12 years in the Airforce posted around Australia and being called on for overseas service. Exiting the RAAF he continues full time work in aviation.  He is the master of fence construction, shed building, irrigation and maintenance.  Besides providing a comfy home for the sheep, his passion is his  homebrew and flying (not in that order).
James: Bachelor of Arts, Masters of Science (Aviation)
